Photography courses

Welcome to our photography courses for 2013.

Aimed at budding beginners (film or digital) and intermediate photographers, the purpose and point to our photography courses is to learn new skills faster, yet in a relaxed professional manner.

Our photography courses on the rugged coastline of Dorset and in the tranquil Lake District of Cumbria, you will be interacting with like-minded enthusiasts to discover and share new skills in a relaxed professional environment. In my experience, it’s quite frustrating trying to share a passion for photography with people that don’t understand, or even care about your photography. Share your passion with people that DO care and understand completely about your photography.

Get to know your camera.

So, you have invested some money and time researching your camera preference, Canon, Nikon Dslr or a new mirrorless and taken a few pix at the weekend. Asking youself what does this do… how can i do that and why do my pix not look like as good as they should.

On our photography courses, ALL your unanswered questions will be answered from hands-on practical experience, in a manner thats easy to understand.

While building an impressive portfolio, you will get to understand more about focusing for tack sharp images. Breaking the ice with your comfort zones and learning specific skills.

Black and white photography and metering. How to focus manually and switch off your AUTO with confidence. Be inspired to visualise your photography and see land/seascapes as Fine Art, backed up with our ongoing  support, online.

Competition to win 25% OFF, easy clues!

From today 28th Feb 2013 to the 10th March 2013 ( Mothers Day…don’t forget) we are running a competition with our course on photography, for who can correctly guess the name of the Hotel in our secret location. Obviously, friends, family or associates can not enter this competition.

Using our comment box only, you have three chances at guessing correctly. You can ask three questions of your choice, one question at a time and we will give you a clue in our reply to your questions to help you guess the name of the Hotel correctly.

There are two prizes of 25% off the price of the photography course. The two winners will be selected at random and notified by email and announced in our blog. This competition only applies to the photography course in May 2013, so GOOD LUCK with your entries.

Plus! Anyone that reserves a booking for this course on photography, while the competition is running, will qualify for a 5% reduction in price. Continue to the booking form below to secure your place for May 2013.

When and where are our photography courses?

Our photography courses start in April and May 2013.

Starting in April, one of my photography collegues Ian will be managing a weekend 3 day photography course in Dorset. Ian is an Author of a couple of books and is a very respected photographer with his own Galleries. Ian has a great understanding of how light works and has a passion for capturing dramatic landscapes, where the rugged coastline of Dorset is a perfect location for sunrise/sunsets.
